But to all who did accept Him and believe in Him He gave the right to become children of God. John 1:12 Those who believe in the Son have eternal life, but those who do not obey the Son will never have life. God's anger stays on them. John 3:36 I tell you the truth, whoever hears what I say and believes in the One who sent Me has eternal life. That person will not be judged guilty but has already left death and entered life. John 5:24 Those who see the Son and believe in Him have eternal life, and I will raise them on the last day. This is what my Father wants. John 6:40 I tell you the truth, whoever believes has eternal life. John 6:47 A thief comes to steal and kill and destroy, but I came to give life-life in all its fullness. John 10:10 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never die, and no one can steal them out of my hand. John 10:27-28 Jesus said "I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in Me will have life even if they die." John 11:25 Jesus answered, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. The only way to the Father is through me." John 14:6 But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. Then, by believing, you may have life through His name. John 20:31 "Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved." Acts 16:31 Jesus is the only One who can save people. His name is the only power in the world that has been given to save people. We must be saved through Him. Acts 4:12 But people cannot do any work that will make them right with God. So they must trust in Him, who makes even evil people right in His sight. Then God accepts their faith, and that makes them right with Him. Romans 4:5 But God shows His great love for us in this way: Christ died for us while we were still sinners. Romans 5:8 When people sin, they earn what sin pays-death. But God gives us a free gift-life forever in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23b I thank God for saving me through Jesus Christ our Lord! Romans 7:25a If you use your mouth to say, "Jesus is Lord," and if you believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 As the Scripture says, "Anyone who calls on the Lord will be saved." Romans 10:13 "Christ died for our sins He was buried, [and] He was raised to life on the third day." I Corinthians 15:3-4. Christ had no sin, but God made Him become sin so that in Christ we could become right with God. II Corinthians 5:21 I mean that you have been saved by grace through believing. You did not save yourselves; it was a gift from God. It was not the result of your own efforts, so you cannot brag about it. Ephesians 2:8-9 God did not choose us to suffer His anger but to have salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus died for us so that we can live together with Him, whether we are alive or dead when He comes. So encourage each other and give each other strength, just as you are doing now. I Thessalonians 5:9-11 What I say is true, and you should fully accept it: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the worst. But I was given mercy so that in me, the worst of all sinners, Christ Jesus could show that He has patience without limit. His patience with me made me an example for those who would believe in Him and have life forever. I Timothy 1:15-16 This is good, and it pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to know the truth. There is one God and one way human beings can reach God. That way is through Christ Jesus, who is Himself human. He gave Himself as a payment to free all people. He is proof that came at the right time. I Timothy 2:3-6 So Christ was offered as a sacrifice one time to take away the sins of many people. And He will come a second time, not to offer Himself for sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for Him. Hebrews 9:28 You know that in the past you were living in a worthless way, a way passed down from the people who lived before you. But you were saved from that useless life. You were bought, not with something that ruins like gold or silver, but with the precious blood of Christ, who was like a pure and perfect lamb. I Peter 1:18-19 Christ carried our sins in His body on the cross so we would stop living for sin and start living for what is right. And you are healed because of His wounds. You were like sheep that wandered away, but now you have come back to the Shepherd and Protector of your souls. I Peter 2:24-25 But God is being patient with you. He does not want anyone to be lost, but He wants all people to change their hearts and lives. II Peter 3:9b That is how God showed His love to us: He sent His one and only Son into the world so that we could have life through Him. This is what real love is: It is not our love for God; it is God's love for us in sending His Son to be the way to take away our sins. I John 4:9-10 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God has God living inside, and that person lives in God. I John 4:15 So the one who wins against the world is the person who believes that Jesus is the Son of God. I John 5:5 This is what God told us: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. Whoever has the Son has life, but whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write this letter to you who believe in the Son of God so you will know you have eternal life. I John 5:11-13 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in and eat with you, and you will eat with Me. Revelation 3:20 Jesus, the One who says these things are true, says, "Yes, I am coming soon." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen. Revelation 22:20-21
So
don't worry, because I am with you. The Lord your God will go ahead of you and fight for you. Deuteronomy 1:30a Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. Deuteronomy 6:5 Remember that I commanded you to be strong and brave. Don't be afraid, because the Lord your God will be with you everywhere you go. Joshua 1:9 Depend on the Lord and His strength; always go to Him for help. I Chronicles 16:11 'Lord, God of heaven, you are the great God who is to be respected. You are loyal, and you keep your agreement with those who love you and obey your commands. Look and listen carefully. Hear the prayer that I, your servant, am praying to you day and night." Nehemiah 1: 5-6 I love you, Lord. You are my strength. Psalm 18:1 May the Lord answer you in times of trouble. May the God of Jacob protect you. Psalm 20:1 The Lord is my shepherd; I have everything I need. He lets me rest in green pastures. He leads me to calm water. He gives me new strength. He leads me on paths that are right for the good of His name. Even if I walk through a very dark valley, I will not be afraid, because you are with me. Your rod and your walking stick comfort me. You prepare a meal for me in front of my enemies. You pour oil on my head; You fill my cup to overflowing. Surely Your goodness and love will be with me all my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23 The Lord is my light and the One who saves. I fear no one. The Lord protects my life; I am afraid of no one. Psalm 27:1 No king is saved by his great army. No warrior escapes by his great strength. Horses can't bring victory; they can't save by their strength. But the Lord looks after those who fear Him, those who put their hope in His love. Psalm 33:16-18 Depend on the Lord; trust Him, and He will take care of you. Psalm 37:5 God is our protection and our strength. He always helps in times of trouble. So we will not be afraid even if the earth shakes, or the mountains fall into the sea, even if the oceans roar and foam, or the mountains shake at the raging sea. Psalm 46:1-3 God says, "Be quiet and know that I am God. I will be supreme over all the nations; I will be supreme in the earth." Psalm 46:10 But I will call to God for help, and the Lord will save me. Morning, noon, and night I am troubled and upset, but He will listen to me. Many are against me, but He keeps me safe in battle. Psalm 55:16-18 Give your worries to the Lord, and He will take care of you. He will never let good people down. Psalm 55:22 When I am afraid, I will trust you. I praise God for His Word. I trust God, so I am not afraid. What can human beings do to me? Psalm 56:3-4 You are my help. Because of your protection, I sing. I stay close to you; you support me with your right hand. Psalm 63:7-8 Those who go to God Most High for safety will be protected by the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, "You are my place of safety and protection. You are my God and I trust you." God will save you from hidden traps and from deadly diseases. He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you can hide. His truth will be your shield and protection. You will not fear any danger by night or an arrow during the day. You will not be afraid of diseases that come in the dark or sickness that strikes at noon. At your side one thousand people may die, or even ten thousand right beside you, but you will not be hurt. You will only watch and see the wicked punished. The Lord is your protection; you have made God Most High your place of safety. Nothing bad will happen to you; no disaster will come to your home. He has put His angels in charge of you to watch over you wherever you go. They will catch you in their hands so that you will not hit your foot on a rock. You will walk on lions and cobras; you will step on strong lions and snakes. The Lord says, "Whoever loves me, I will save, I will protect those who know me. They will call to me, and I will answer them. I will be with them in trouble; I will rescue them and honor them. I will give them a long, full life, and they will see how I can save." Psalm 91 My whole being, praise the Lord; all my being, praise His holy name. My whole being, praise the Lord and do not forget all His kindnesses. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. He saves my life from the grave and loads me with love and mercy. He satisfies me with good things and makes me young again, like the eagle. The Lord does what is right and fair for all who are wronged by others. He showed His ways to Moses and His deeds to the people of Israel. The Lord shows mercy and is kind. He does not become angry quickly, and He has great love. He will not always accuse us, and He will not be angry forever. He has not punished us as our sins should be punished; He has not repaid us for the evil we have done. As high as the sky is above the earth, so great is His love for those who respect Him. He has taken our sins away from us as far as the east is from west. The Lord has mercy on those who respect Him, as a father has mercy on his children. He knows how we were made; He remembers that we are dust. Human life is like grass; we grow like a flower in the field. After the wind blows, the flower is gone, and there is no sign of where it was. But the Lord's love for those who respect Him continues forever and ever, and His goodness continues to their grandchildren and to those who keep His agreement and who remember to obey His orders. The Lord has set His throne in heaven, and His kingdom rules over everything. You who are His angels, praise the Lord. You are the mighty warriors who do what He says and who obey His voice. You, His armies, praise the Lord; you are His servants who do what He wants. Everything the Lord has made should praise Him in all the places He rules. My whole being, praise the Lord. Psalm 103 I love the Lord, because He listens to my prayers for help. Psalm 116:1 I said to myself, "Relax, because the Lord takes care of you." Psalm 116:7 Open my eyes to see the miracles in Your teachings. Psalm 119:18 Our
help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. If I rise with the sun in the east and settle in the west beyond the sea, even there you would guide me. With Your right hand you would hold me. Psalm 139:9-10 The Lord helps those who have been defeated and takes care of those who are in trouble. All living things look to you for food, and you give it to them at the right time. You open your hand, and you satisfy all living things. Everything the Lord does is right. He is loyal to all He has made. The Lord is close to everyone who prays to Him, to all who truly pray to Him. He gives those who respect Him what they want. He listens when they cry, and He saves them. The Lord protects everyone who loves Him, but He will destroy the wicked. I will praise the Lord. Let everyone praise His holy name forever. Psalm 145:14-21. Trust the Lord with all your heart, and don't depend on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5 God has given them a desire to know the future. He does everything just right and on time, but people can never completely understand what He is doing. Ecclesiastes 3:11 You, Lord, give true peace to those who depend on you, because they trust you. Isaiah 26:3 This is what the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, says: "If you come back to me and trust Me, you will be saved. If you will be calm and trust Me, you will be strong." Isaiah 30:15a But, the people who trust the Lord will become strong again. They will rise up as an eagle in the sky; they will run and not need rest; they will walk and not become tired. Isaiah 40:31 So don't worry, because I am with you. Don't be afraid, because I am your God. I will make you strong and will help you; I will support you with my right hand that saves you. Isaiah 41:10 I am the Lord your God, who holds your right hand, and I tell you, 'Don't be afraid. I will help you.' Isaiah 41:13 Now
this is what the Lord says. He created you, people of Jacob; He formed
you, people of Israel. He says, "Don't be afraid, because I have
saved you. I have called you by name, and you are Mine. When you pass
through the waters, I will be with you. When you cross rivers, you
will not drown. When you walk through fire, you will not be burned,
nor will the flames hurt you. This is because I, the Lord, am your
God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior." The Lord says, "Forget what happened before, and do not think about the past. Look at the new thing I am going to do. It is already happening. Don't you see it?" Isaiah 43:18-19a I will comfort you as a mother comforts her child. Isaiah 66:13a "I know what I am planning for you," says the Lord. "I have good plans for you, not plans to hurt you. I will give you hope and a good future." Jeremiah 29:11 Oh, Lord God, you made the skies and the earth with your very great power. There is nothing too hard for you to do. Jeremiah 32:17 I am the Lord, the God of every person on the earth. Nothing is impossible for me. Jeremiah 32:27
In the same way, you should be a light for other people. Live so that they will see the good things you do and will praise your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16 "Lord, you can heal me if You will." Matthew 8:2b Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will be able to do what I did to this tree and even more. You will be able to say to this mountain, 'Go, fall into the sea.' And if you have faith, it will happen. If you believe, you will get anything you ask for in prayer." Matthew 21:21-22 "So always be ready, because you don't know the day or the hour the Son of Man will come." Matthew 25:13 Then Jesus came to them and said, "All power in heaven and on earth is given to me. So go and make followers of all people in the world. Baptize them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach them to obey everything that I have taught you, and I will be with you always, even until the end of the age." Matthew 28:18-20 Jesus answered, "Have faith in God. I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, 'Go, fall into the sea.' And if you have no doubts in your mind and believe that what you say will happen, God will do it for you. So I tell you to believe that you have received the things you ask for in prayer, and God will give them to you. When you are praying, if you are angry with someone, forgive him so that you Father in heaven will also forgive your sins." Mark 11:22-25 "God can do anything!" Luke 1:37 And if you ask for anything in my name, I will do it for you so that the Father's glory will be shown through the Son. If you ask me for anything in my name, I will do it." John 14:13-14 "Those who know my commands and obey them are the ones who love me, and my Father will love those who love me. I will love them and will show myself to them." John 14:21 "You should produce much fruit and show that you are my followers, which brings glory to my Father." John 15:8 You did not choose me; I chose you. And I gave you this work: to go and produce fruit, fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you anything you ask for in my name. This is my command: Love each other." John 15:16-17 After Jesus said these things, He looked toward heaven and prayed, "Father, the time has come. Give glory to your Son so that the Son can give glory to You. You gave the Son power over all people so that the Son could give eternal life to all those You gave Him. And this is eternal life: that people know You, the only true God, and that they know Jesus Christ, the One you sent. Having finished the work You gave Me to do, I brought You glory on earth. And now, Father, give Me glory with You; give Me the glory I had with You before the world was made. I showed what You are like to those You gave Me from the world. They belonged to You, and You gave them to Me, and they have obeyed Your teaching. Now they know that everything You gave Me comes from You. I gave them the teachings You gave Me, and they accepted them. They knew that I truly came from You, and they believed that You sent Me. I am praying for them. I am not praying for people in the world but for those You gave Me, because they are Yours. All I have is Yours, and all You have is Mine. And My glory is shown through them. I am coming to You; I will not stay in the world any longer. But they are still in the world. Holy Father, keep them safe by the power of Your name, the name You gave Me, so that they will be one, just as You and I are one. While I was with them, I kept them safe by the power of Your name, the name you gave Me. I protected them, and only one of them, the one worthy of destruction, was lost so that the Scripture would come true. I am coming to You now. But I pray these things while I am still in the world so that these followers can have all of My joy in them. I have given them Your teaching. And the world has hated them, because they don't belong to the world, just as I don't belong to the world. I am not asking You to take them out of the world but to keep them safe from the Evil One. They don't belong to the world, just as I don't belong to the world. Make them ready for Your service through Your truth; Your teaching is truth. I have sent them into the world, just as You sent me into the world. For their sake, I am making myself ready to serve so that they can be ready for their service of the truth. I pray for these followers, but I am also praying for all those who will believe in Me because of their teaching. Father, I pray that they can be one. As You are in Me and I am in You, I pray that they can also be one in Us. Then the world will believe that You sent Me. I have given these people the glory that You gave Me so that they can be one, just as You and I are one. I will be in them and You will be in Me so that they will be completely one. Then the world will know that You sent Me and that You loved them just as much as You loved Me. Father, I want these people that You gave Me to be with Me where I am. I want them to see My glory, which You gave Me because You loved Me before the world was made. Father, You are the One who is good. The world does not know You, but I know You, and these people know You sent Me. I showed them what You are like, and I will show them again. Then they will have the same love that You have for Me, and I will live in them." John 17 They said, "Men of Galilee, why are you standing here looking into the sky? Jesus, whom you saw taken up from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you saw Him go." Acts 1:11 God wanted them to look for Him and perhaps search all around for Him and find Him, though He is not far from any of us. We live in Him. We walk in Him. We are in Him.' Acts 17:27-28a There are things about Him that people cannot see-His eternal power and all the things that make Him God. Romans 1:20 We also have joy with our troubles, because we know that these troubles produce patience. And patience produces character, and character produces hope. And this hope will never disappoint us, because God has poured out His love to fill our hearts. He gave us His love through the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to us. Romans 5:3-5 The sufferings we have now are nothing compared to the great glory that will be shown to us. Everything God made is waiting with excitement for God to show His children's glory completely. Romans 8:18-19 We were saved, and we have this hope. If we see what we are waiting for, that is not really hope. People do not hope for something they already have. But we are hoping for something we do not have yet, and we are waiting for it patiently. Also, the Spirit helps us with our weakness. We do not know how to pray as we should. But the Spirit Himself speaks to God for us, even begs God for us with deep feelings that words cannot explain. God can see what is in people's hearts. And He knows what is in the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit speaks to God for His people in the way God wants. We know that in everything God works for the good of those who love Him. They are the people He called, because that was His plan. Romans 8:24-28 Be joyful because you have hope. Be patient when trouble comes, and pray at all times. Romans 12:12
I pray that the God who gives hope will fill you with much joy and peace while you trust in him. Then your hope will overflow by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 If you think you are strong, you should be careful not to fall. The only temptation that has come to you is that which everyone has. But you can trust God, who will not permit you to be tempted more than you can stand. But when you are tempted, He will also give you a way to escape so that you will be able to stand it. I Corinthians 10:12-13 God
is not a God of confusion but a God of peace. Be alert. Continue strong in the faith. Have courage, and be strong. I Corinthians 16:13 Praise
be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is the Father
who is full of mercy and all comfort. He comforts us every time we
have trouble, so when others have trouble, we can comfort them with
the same comfort God gives us. We share in the many sufferings of
Christ. In the same way, much comfort comes to us through Christ.
If we have troubles, it is for your comfort and salvation, and if
we have comfort, you also have comfort. This helps you to accept patiently
the same sufferings we have. So that I would not become too proud of the wonderful things that were shown to me, a painful physical problem was given to me. This problem was a messenger from Satan, sent to beat me and keep me from being too proud. I begged the Lord three times to take this problem away from me. But He said to me, "My grace is enough for you. When you are weak, my power is made perfect in you." So I am very happy to brag about my weaknesses. Then Christ's power can live in me. For this reason I am happy when I have weaknesses, insults, hard times, sufferings, and all kinds of troubles for Christ. Because when I am weak, then I am truly strong. II Corinthians 12:7-10 And I pray that you and all God's holy people will have the power to understand the greatness of Christ's love-how wide and how long and how high and how deep that love is. Christ's love is greater than anyone can ever know, but I pray that you will be able to know that love. Then you can be filled with the fullness of God. With God's power working in us, God can do much, much more than anything we can ask or imagine. To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus for all time, forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:18-21 Be full of joy in the Lord always. I will say again, be full of joy. Let everyone see that you are gentle and kind. The Lord is coming soon. Do not worry about anything, but pray and ask God for everything you need, always giving thanks. And God's peace, which is so great we cannot understand it, will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-8 I can do all things through Christ, because He gives me strength. Philippians 4:13 God will strengthen you with His own great power so that you will not give up when troubles come, but you will be patient. Colossians 1:11 Let the teaching of Christ live in you richly. Use all wisdom to teach and instruct each other by singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with thankfulness in your hearts to God. Everything you do or say should be done to obey Jesus your Lord. And in all you do, give thanks to God the Father through Jesus. Colossians 3:16-17 God did not give us a spirit that makes us afraid but a spirit of power and love and self-control. II Timothy 1:7 But encourage each other every day while it is "today." Hebrews 3: 13a Let us think about each other and help each other to show love and do good deeds. You should not stay away from the church meetings, as some are doing, but you should meet together and encourage each other. Do this even more as you see the day coming. Hebrews 10:24-25 My brothers and sisters, when you have many kinds of troubles, you should be full of joy, because you know that these troubles test your faith, and this will give you patience. Let your patience show itself perfectly in what you do. Then you will be perfect and complete and will have everything you need. But if any of you needs wisdom, you should ask God for it. He is generous and enjoys giving to all people, so He will give you wisdom. But when you ask God, you must believe and not doubt. Anyone who doubts is like a wave in the sea, blown up and down by the wind. Such doubters are thinking two different things at the same time, and they cannot decide about anything they do. They should not think they will receive anything from the Lord. James 1: 2-8 But God gives us even more grace, as the Scripture says, "God is against the proud, but He gives grace to the humble. James 4:6 Come
near to God, and God will come near to you. James 4:8a God's
power protects you through your faith until salvation is shown to
you at the end of time. This makes you very happy, even though now
for a short time different kinds of troubles may make you sad. These
troubles come to prove that your faith is pure. This purity of faith
is worth more than gold, which can be proved to be pure by fire but
will ruin. But the purity of your faith will bring you praise and
glory and honor when Jesus Christ is shown to you. You have not seen
Christ, but still you love Him. You cannot see Him now, but you believe
in Him. So you are filled with a joy that My friends, do not be surprised at the terrible trouble which now comes to test you. Do not think that something strange is happening to you. But be happy that you are sharing in Christ's sufferings so that you will be happy and full of joy when Christ comes again in glory. I Peter 4:12-13 Be humble under God's powerful hand so He will lift you up when the right time comes. Give all your worries to Him, because He cares about you. Control yourselves and be careful! The devil, your enemy, goes around like a roaring lion looking for someone to eat. Refuse to give in to him, by standing strong in your faith. You know that your Christian family all over the world is having the same kinds of suffering. And after you suffer for a short time, God, who gives all grace, will make everything right. He will make you strong and support you and keep you from falling. He called you to share in His glory in Christ, a glory that will continue forever. All power is His forever and ever. Amen. I Peter 5:6-11 So the Lord knows how to save those who serve Him when troubles come. II Peter 2:9a Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God has God living inside, and that person lives in God. And so we know the love that God has for us, and we trust that love. God is love. Those who live in love live in God, and God lives in them. This is how love is made perfect in us: that we can be without fear on the day God judges us, because in this world we are like Him. Where God's love is, there is no fear, because God's perfect love drives out fear. I John 4:15-18a "Listen! I am coming soon! Happy is the one who obeys the words of prophecy in this book." Revelation 22:7 "Listen! I am coming soon! I will bring my reward with me, and I will repay each one of you for what you have done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End." Revelation 22:12-13
Jesus,
the One who says these things are true, says, "Yes, I am coming
soon." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! The grace of the Lord Jesus be with
all. Amen. Revelation 22:20-21 We hope these Scriptures will be a real encouragement to you as they have been to us. That you will allow Him to give you the peace that passes all understanding-as He will if you will only let Him. We strongly urge you to hide some of these in your heart-that you too will have them when you face 'trials' so that through Him-His Word-you will receive true joy and the peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We encourage you to pray diligently, read His Word daily, praise Him daily-through word and song-singing and listening to music praising His name, and count your many blessings. This will be but a short time on earth----and we will soon be praising and glorifying Him forever in eternity. Remember, He is with you always. To Him be all glory. "Amazing Grace" Amazing
